On December 28, 2001 I stepped off a plane onto African soil and little did I know the Lord was about to fortify the passion I had for Africa and turn it into a non-profit organization called Project Africa. Today as I sit here I feel honored that the Lord has chosen Deb and I for this task and as I think about the past nine years, about the eight journeys to four African countries, about the 1,000’s that have come to the Lord, about the many demonically possessed set free, about the lives we have fed, about the sweat and tears put into church plants, I am in awe of the work the Lord has enabled us to do, after all we are just sinners saved by grace trying to live a life that will bring glory to our King.
And as 2010 has arrived it is now our goal to put the “running shoes” on Project Africa and we are asking for your help in doing so! Our goal is to raise up an additional 53 project partners; one for every country in Africa. Project Partners are people who believe in this ministry and dedicate to invest a specific amount of their choice each month for at least the next year. As a direct result God will be glorified as we assault the kingdom of darkness over Africa resulting in more salvations, more deliverance, more teams launched, more churches built all to unite Africa with Christ, bringing glory to His Name! In the words of David Livingston, “Sympathy is no substitute for action.” True joy does not have a barcode; however, you can find it by leaving a legacy this year by directly impacting Africa with the love of God!
